Our bakehouse started in a sunny, 70-year-old kitchen outside Tulsa with creaky floors and a pair of birds that occasionally lived in the flue behind the wall. Cheap spices. Rum. My two little toddlers.
Ten years and eight moves later, we’ve settled down in beautiful St. Augustine, Fl and we’re here to stay.
This kitchen isn’t quite as old but it’s still sunny with lots of good scotch, Mexican vanilla and a warm oven every day.
And soon our giant cookies and little cakes will be hitting farmer’s markets all around St. Augustine.
