playing with the giants: flavors

IMG_8050.jpeg

Played with these huge things a lot this week.

First up - lots of butterscotch.

No pecans the first time.

Really flat but so crispy on the edges and chewy.

Awesome texture.

White chocolate chip-macadamia nut was next.

These came out super chunky, golden, sweet and nutty.

Almost meaty. But in a good way.

Then there was the Heath and toffee chip.

Caramel-ly. Came out looking pretty but just too sweet…

The winner came last.

I crammed salty toasted pecans into the middle of the butterscotch dough and rolled ‘em in it.

Perfection. Truly. They stand up easily next to the classic chocolate chip.
